Passion Over Poverty is a full day of professional development, understanding and connecting with your community. We are dedicated to knowing the needs, resources, and educational tools that provide valuable support in your community. The Community Action Poverty Simulation is a tool that helps participants rethink the challenges that millions of low-income individuals must face each and every day. More importantly, this tool helps people identify areas of change that can directly impact the effects of poverty on individuals, families and communities.

Breaking Boundaries TX is dedicated to educating those that serve our communities with the knowledge, skills, and resources to impact change. In addition, BBTX provides ease of access to resources and guidance for those in need.

The Community Action Poverty Simulation is a profoundly moving experience. It moves people to think about the harsh realities of poverty and to talk about how communities can address the problem. Most importantly, it moves people to make a difference.

During our day of development, the content, statistics, and provided tools and resources are directly related to your community. Moving educators from compassionate to connected.

The day is led by our trained and licensed facilitators with the immersive Community Action Poverty Simulation, where participants step into the shoes of families facing real-life challenges. Through role-playing and resource allocation, you'll gain invaluable insights into the struggles millions endure daily.

Insightful Sessions

Following the simulation and a well-deserved lunch break, the group will dive deeper into your direct community's needs and resources and learn about tools and strategies that build connection and engagement with families. Attendees will learn how to make a tangible difference in the lives of those battling financial burdens/poverty. Together, we can drive empathy, compassion, and informed decisions that shape brighter futures for students and families.
