Our Story

Built by someone who needed it.

As a single parent, our founder didn't know the resources existed that could have made her journey significantly easier — while raising her son, working, going to school, and battling financial hardship, chronic illness, and the constant weight of overwhelm.

That experience became a mission. Working first in education and then in Human Resources, she built and used the database in the real-world chaos of the COVID pandemic, continuously improving the support systems for the people she served. Today it is one of the largest resource and support databases in Texas.

BBTX is designed for people under stress, on mobile, without technical backgrounds — and for the professionals who support them. Every listing aims to include the name, phone, address, hours, website, and notes needed to actually take the next step.
